  • Project Data: Project titles, descriptions, cost savings, and other continuous improvement metrics
  • System Logs: IP addresses, browser type, device information, and access patterns

2.3 Technical Information:

  • Device Data: Operating system, browser version, screen resolution
  • Performance Data: Load times, errors, and system performance metrics
  • Security Data: Failed login attempts, suspicious activities, and security events

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Platform Operation:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
  • To authenticate users and manage access controls
  • To track continuous improvement projects and generate reports
  • To enable collaboration between distribution centers

3.2 Security and Compliance:

  • To monitor system security and detect unauthorized access
  • To investigate security incidents and policy violations
  • To comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements
  • To maintain audit trails for compliance purposes

3.3 Business Operations:

  • To analyze Platform usage and improve user experience
  • To generate analytics and business intelligence reports

4. Data Security

4.1 Encryption:

  • In Transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2+ protocols
  • At Rest: Project data is encrypted using AES-256-CBC encryption before storage
  • Client-Side Encryption: Sensitive project information is encrypted in your browser before transmission

4.2 Access Controls:

  • Role-based access control (RBAC) limits data access based on user roles
  • Multi-factor authentication capabilities for enhanced security
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
  • Automated monitoring for suspicious activities

4.3 Data Protection Measures:

Your information may be shared within TJX Canada:

You may object to certain processing of your data or request restrictions, though this may limit Platform functionality.

7.4 GDPR Rights (European Users):

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR, including:

  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") under certain circumstances

  • Right to withdraw consent
